Aikido: The Theory Of Chi

The Underlying Principle of Everything
In quantum physics, the theory of strings is the foremost theory which assures to revolutionize the way of seeing the world. This theory describes about the most basic structure that develops everything which we can and cannot visualize in the physical world. According to the theoretical physicists, string is just a word that dictates the things that we can see, have and perceive around the physical world.
However, there is no direct correlation between the theory of string and the theory of ch'i that exist in the East. The ch'i says that there is a basic energy substance that underlie in everything around the world. If we understand about the energy of this basic substance, we will be able to use its power.
The concept of ch’i or qi in the Chinese and the concept of ki in the Japanese is very much similar that has been taught in the schools. Some beliefs that ch’i is energy the matter that separates from the matter. While some other beliefs that the ch’i evolves from the matter. Some other though also beliefs that the matter itself evolves from the ch’i.
But the thing common among all the concepts of ch’i is that they all believe that ch’i is the basic energy that can be used to develop the power in oneself in the spiritual, physical and mental aspects. No single word explanation can describe the concept of chi however. That is why the knowledge of ch’i has to be passed through original and the practical instructions.
However, one school of martial arts teaches the basic concept of ch’i that is known as ki in their school. This technique is taught in the school of Aikido. Aikido is the heart of spirituality and philosophy that is also taught in the concept of ch’i or qi.
In aikido the “ki” is the key principle that is taught in this type of martial art. Aikido is different from other martial arts whose main purpose is combat and war. While, aikido is more focused toward creating the peaceful exposure towards the aggression in fight. Aikido also teaches about the basic energy of ch’i or ki that can be bounded together to take advantage from. In aikido, ki is the means the energy in a form that it can flow.
Aikido principles belief that the ki energy can flow strongly and smoothly when it is not interrupted. It teaches the relaxation and the peace. Like same can be associated with the water, if you want to generate the hydroelectricity force, you have to let the water flow smoothly and generate the power.
In aikido the ki energy only comes when the person is relaxed. In relaxed mode the flow of the ki is much helped. Aikido is that type of martial arts which do not focuses on the superior physical attributes or muscle strength rather it is about the relaxation, flexibility and stamina. It allows the practitioners to throw the almost double in weight opponents.
